Services for Nonprofits
The Grantmakers Forum does not make grants nor does it provide fundraising information and/or referral for individual nonprofits. The following resources are available for nonprofit service providers:
Alternative Fundraising Sites:
Foundation Directory Online. A produce of The Foundation Center, FDO is a national database that offers 6 levels of service from FDO Free to FDO Professional .
provides basic information about all 501(c)(3) organizations, including
funders. Users may sign up for a free account and access basic information
and IRS 990 returns, or subscribe to more detailed levels of data
for a fee.
NOTE: Many public library systems offer free access to the Foundation Center FDO services. In Rochester, call the Business & Social Sciences Division at the Rochester Public Library, 115 South Ave. 585-248-8130 .
Common Application and Report Form, currently accepted by approximately 40 area funders. Save the Common Application & Report Form to your computer in MS Word format. Logic Model Packet: A tool for program planning, development of proposalsand reporting results (downloads in MS Word format).
