MEMO TO: Greater Rochester Non-Profit Organizations FROM: Rochester Effectiveness Partnership Members
RE: INTRODUCTION OF ROCHESTER AREA LOGIC MODEL Over the last few years, members of the Rochester Effective Partnership (REP) have had an opportunity to learn about and work with several tools and processes to help them in their planning and evaluation work. Many members found these tools to be exceptionally helpful in developing new programs, or understanding existing programs. One such tool is a logic model, a valuable organizational planning, implementation, funding and quality improvement process tool. Rather than REP partners integrate various models into their work, a subcommittee of REP was formed to develop a common format for a logic model. Hence, the Rochester Area Logic Model created. Below is more information about the Rochester Area Logic Model, including instructions and samples on how to use this tool. Some departments of the City of Rochester and the County of Monroe, the United Way of Greater Rochester and some members of Rochester Grantmakers Forum have begun integrating the Rochester Area Logic Model into their respective planning and funding processes. You may contact Rochester Grantmakers Forum with any questions.
