Ms.
Lopacki will speak about partnerships between national and local grantmakers
to leverage limited resources for greater community impact. In 2007
up to $6 million in matching grants will be awarded through the Local
Initiative Funding Partners program to fund innovative, collaborative
health projects.

Williams is a star grantwriter for the Institute -- a non-profit providing
management support, information/referral, organizational development,
and research/technology services to planners, funders and providers
serving the Southern Tier of New York -- who will
speak on what makes a winning grant.

Center, New York, NY
Ms.
Brinkman will demonstrate online grants database tools for grantseekers
seeking funding, and grantmakers investigating collaborations or expert
knowledge for their grant programs.
Cooperating
Collections are libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit
agencies that make accessible a collection of Foundation Center print
and electronic publications, as well as a variety of supplementary materials
and education programs in areas useful to grantseekers. The Rochester
Public Library Cooperating Collection offers Foundation Directory Online
Professional, and Foundation Grants to Individuals Online. The Foundation
Center is an independent national service organization established by
foundations to provide an authoritative source of information on foundation
and corporate giving.
The Rochester Public Library also offers
the Grantmakers Forum of New York's Online
Guide to Grantmakers.
